Humidifier: In January, you might be using heating, which make the air dry. So a cool humidifier is what we recommend. I have some tips for new parents here:http://www.healthychildren.org/English/ages-stages/prenatal/decisions-to-make/Pages/Buying-Furniture-and-Baby-Equipment.aspx Also:https://www.evernote.com/l/AAXEzhJqFiVLnrBOTwjjYuCl8pK5SWePRLg Enjoy your new baby!

Humidifiers/ misters: When you heat your house you dry the air which can parch the airways & lead to sore throat/congested nose/headaches/ cough at any age.Babies are more susceptible than older kids/adults. Humidifiers are basically a fan that draws air thru a wic that adds unseen water. They improve the environment but must be cleaned (Mold, germs) regularly.Vaporizers add humidity but tend to wet the room/linen/ kid
