See below: Dear Kisha: When you hit your cheek bone, probably a small hematoma formed on top of the bone..What you are now feeling is the blood clot that has solidified...It will take a relatively short period of time for this hard area to resolve...Sometimes a small cortizone (hydrocortisone) injection into the area will hasten the resolution
