Had a sigmoidectomy in june. i have been having blood in my stools but i think it's hemorrhoids. is that possible so soon?

"So soon" after ?: This answer is being formulated in November, which is five months after your sigmoidoscopy. Hemorrhoids can develop quite abuptly--so not "too soon." More to the point-- are you sure you have just hemorrhoids? Lots of things can cause blood in stool, some quite concerning. Please return to your gastroenterologist and have him/her resume your evaluation for definitive diagnosis and treatment.
