Hematologist: A hematologist is best qualified to advise you. Anemia develops from 3 possible causes; losing blood, destroying blood or not making blood. More testing is needed to determine why your Hgb is only 10.

Not right now.: As it stands now,,your hemoglobin count shouldn't be a symptomatic concern, but it's low and a reason should be elucidated. There may be a quite simple answer, but a name should be given to why you're anemic.
