Should be OK: Rybella is most devastating when acquired in the first trimester, or first 13 weeks, of pregnancy, but at this stage can still cause deafness, prematurity, congenital heart disease and other problems after birth. Make sure your baby has a thorough examination and evaluation including an echocardiogram, eye exam, and hearing screen sfter delivery. Make sure you see the OB regularly during pregnancy
