A member asked:

What can cause spider nevi (3 of them) to appear on a young man if liver disease has been investigated and ruled out? also presents with chest acne

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mostly harmless: Spider nevi are simply telangiectasia, a type of blood vessel phenomenon that usually are not pathological. They are common and may be benign, presenting in around 10-15% of healthy adults and young children. However, having more than 3 spider angiomas is likely to be abnormal and may be a sign of liver disease.
