I have an itchy mole. doctor said its a skin infection and to treat with ointment. how long should it take to heal. should l get second opinion ?

Few weeks: Give it a few weeks. It should start healing up by that time, if not see a dermatologist for evaluation and possible biopsy. In the mean time keep it clean and dry, try not to pick at it and use the ointment given to you by your doctor.
