Steroid and headache: Do not take NSAIDS (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs) with chronic steroid use, as the combination can lead to severe gastric bleeds. You may use alternate meds for the headache including tylenol (acetaminophen) and other pain modulating meds like Amitrptalline, topamax, gabapentin, depakote and some short term narcotic meds may be used. Discuss with a neurologist and your meds will be adjusted.
