I have taken 2 butal for my migraine and it didn't help can i take 800 mg of advil (ibuprofen) ?

Yes: Just don't mix it too often if the butalbital has Aspirin in it because of GI and renal side effects.

MOH: Medication overuse headache. If you use acute medications excessively to alleviate migraine, you are at risk for developing chronic headache secondary to the chronic use of these medications. Particularly butalbital-containing products carries with it an inherent risk of developing a chronic daily headache. Rec : see headache or orofacial pain specialist for investigation and treatment.
