I'm short,im 17 and 5'2 in fact. i haven't grown a centimetercentimeter since i was 12. both my parents were tall so why am i not?

Get evaluated: Hi. It sounds like you've fallen off the grown curve (normative data for growth through childhood and adolescence). No height growth since age 12 is abnormal. That should be evaluated. Parental height should have some degree of predictive ability for your peak height. You could start with your doc, but will probably need a referral. Good luck.

See endocrinologist: Need to make sure all your endocrine glands are working. Also need to rule out celiac disease.
