Thyroid: I doubt the IBS is involved. Menopause and thyroid disease are both possibilities though. See your doctor for testing.

Peri menopause? : Are you taking any hormone or anti hormone therapy? If so, the medication might be responsible. If not, then you may be perimenopausal. You should discuss this with your primary medical provider or specialist gynecologist. Hope that helps.

Cause: There is a long list of conditions that could cause your concerns. I would start with a visit (hopefully a return) to your gynecologist. You are still young but appear to be close to being without adequate estrogen.
