What causes itchy skin around the vagina, skin irritation (around the vagina) and brown discharge instead of my periods ?

Vaginal pruritis: "itchy" skin around the vagina may be caused by yeast infections. The "brown discharge" may be slow release of blood at the time of your period, which turns "red" to "brown". See your gyn for an exam and testing, as there may be other elements causing this.
