My head is swollen and hurting at the back, in a wide channel running from the bottom of my head to the middle of my head. it has gotten worse over a period of 4 days. paracetamol is not doing much for the pain. it is also a bit itchy and i have a cough.

Sagittarius suture: You don't state your age but your description sounds like your Sagittal suture between your two parietal bones of your scalp never sealed. That usually happens by 12-18 months. You may have other problems with your cranium. You should see a neurosurgeon and a neurologist to help sort things out soon.
