Usually: once the stress is over the hair will regrow. remember about 20-25% of hair follicles are in rest phase at any time and some times that % increases that may be another reason for hair loss.

Stress: You are young. I realize that you may be under stress, but this should not cause your hair to fall out. Talk to your doctor and get your thyroid checked.

Most likely: At your age the chance is good that the hair will grow back. If you have bald patches and not just generalized thinning then you should see a dermatologist now.

It may: Stress can wreak havoc on you, not only emotionally but physically too. Once the stress improves, your physical symptoms can resolve too and eventually go back to normal. Good luck.
