A member asked:

What can i do if my toddler refuses to drink milk. how else can she get calcium?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Milk-a 4 letter word: Some kids do refuse for a variety of reasons. I prefer to use the 4 letters to represent 4 cups of milk needed, or 4 units of calcium. You can substitute milks: almond, soy or goat , or slices of cheese(=1 cup), cottage cheese, yogurt. You can also grind up a couple of Tums (calcium carbonate) tablets (has calcium) and sprinkle the powder on their food.
