Toddler Milk: First of all, I applaud you for wanting to find a way to get your toddler to drink less milk. Cow's milk is thought to trigger type one diabetes in some people, so that is reason enough. I have two suggestions: 1. offer coconut milk, hemp milk, almond milk, or rice milk and 2. Since toddlers cannot shop or get their own food or drink, as the parent, just stop serving it!!

Discontinue bottles: and the practice of walking around sipping milk ad-lib from a Sippee cup to prevent cavities. Take your child to a pediodontist. Give milk in an open-mouth cup only at sit-down meals & snacks. Limit milk & milk products to 16-21 oz. day total to prevent iron deficiency, which can cause developmental delays. Give water, not juice, for thirst. Check for anemia, iron deficiency & constipation.
