Probably chemo.: Sometimes a device is surgically placed into the brain that allows us to inject chemotherapy. We inject into a reservoir that is under the scalp. It looks like we are giving a shot in the head, but actually the medicine is going through a tube into the fluid inside the brain. This is usually a type of chemotherapy or sometimes a steroid.
