Perhaps: Some types of chemotherapy and radiation therapy can be very effective eat killing tumor cells within the brain without a surgical incision. The potential drawback is if all of the cells are not killed, then they can draw back. Depending on the location of the tumor, an operation might be more effective at treating the cancer.
