The psychiatrist put me on nardil (phenelzine) (i went off celexa 5 weeks ago). is this drug more effective?

Maybe.: Every individual is different. One medication may be more effective for one person, but not another. Celexa and Nardil (phenelzine) are in different classes. The former is an SSRI and the latter an MAOI. The former has tranquilizer properties and the latter does not.
