Supernumerary teeth: Additional or extra teeth are common, they can be hidden inside the jaw bone or they can erupt in the same time with other teeth where they can cause crowding. They are most often located in he upper Maxilla, but they can actually erupt anywhere in the jaw, some even grow outside the jaw and are called ectopic teeth.

Of course: The supernumerary tooth might cause aesthetic and functional problems. Ask your dentist for treatment options.
