Doctor says i have low kidney function. what can cause this?

Diabetes, high BP: Common causes of kidney disease-diabetes, hypertension, kidney stones, blockage in the kidney and urinary system. Other disease- lupus, medications like painkillers (advil, aleve (naproxen) etc). First you have to find out the severity of kidney disease and look for cause.It may be reversible.
