A member asked:

Can a 7 month old have honey?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not recommended: Natural honey is often contaminated by botulism spores. Infants fed honey can develop paralysis of their breathing muscle (and die) if the spores grow in their intestine and start making toxin. Honey is avoided until after a year of age when their digestive system has matured and the risk has passed.
