See your doctor.: You should see your doctor today or tomorrow. The swollen glands (actually lymph nodes) may or may not be related to the ear pain. The only way to tell if you have an ear infection or other infection (throat) is to be examined by your doctor. You can take pain medication such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen (Tylenol) for the pain until you can be seen. Feel better!
