Jaw pain, popping, may indicate joint dysfunction. Bleeding may indicate infection. When was your last Dental examination? You may want to seek evaluation with a specialist in Oral Pathology. Your local Dental Society can provide you with a list of names.

At the age of 18, TMJ symptoms may be caused by inflammation of the wisdom teeth. Since you have the jaw pain at age six, skeletal and possible dental malocclusion should be examined. Bleeding is just a symptom. Treat the cause (malocclusion), not the symptom (bleeding) and the symptom will disappear.
