Vein grafts for bypa: If usable the internal mammary artery is used - usually if they need veins for grafting the veins in one of the legs is used. Generally that does NOT cause any issues. Ultimately its up to the surgeon. I would discuss your situation PRIOR to surgery Good luck

Cabg: All depends on which arteries are blocked, size of all vessels involved they may use vein grafts from the legs, LIMA, RIMA or radial A grafts. Radials are smaller caliber. Lifestyle will also be taken into acct. your surgeon should discuss the options - pros & cons. More info can be given if more info is provided.
