MCL sprain/strain: Need to see orthopedics or sports med specialist to check out how severe damage to mcl is. Doc can then advise re recovery time, physical therapy, etc. Continue r.I.C.E (rest, ice, compression, elevation) & nsaid.

When pain free: Usually a couple of weeks. Brace helps. Quad and hamstring exercises help. Usually takes 4-6 weeks to heal if isolated mcl.
