See MD: See your MD and have a baseline evaluation. My recommendation is to take a picture of the birthmarks and have the photo as a baseline for future comparison.

Moles: The Moles may not truly be NEW. You may now be cognizant of their presence. Observe colour shape any other changes. See your dermatologist for a scrape biopsy if you are overly concerned.

Nevi: Always monitor any new skin lesion. Also if you have large amounts of sun exposure or family history of skin cancer you need to have your skin checked regularly. If they are becoming larger or the borders change or become darker you need to see your doctor. Always follow the ABCD's: asymmetry, borders, color, diameter. Hope this helps.
