A member asked:

I have this atypical mole in my left arm, and (thank god) it is not changing color or increasing in size. but i noticed that there are 2 to 3 new small (needle-like) moles in my arm, is it normal for me since i am still a teen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, very normal for a teenager to develop new moles of different sizes, color and shape . If you do have a number of moles on your body with one atypical mole on your left arm , an annual evaluation , total body , by your Dermatologist is essential .
