Fasciculation: Involuntary twitching of a muscle. Very common. Not to worry. If it continues for a day or two, or you find more muscles having them, you should be seen. Hope this was helpful. Dr. R

Vein?: Unlikely. If there is a jumping sensation in your thigh it is most likely a muscle twitch, and not worrisome. Veins just don't jump.
