Valve??: Veins have small valves in them, which some people can fell (palpate). If painless, non-inflamed and not changing, it is likely of little significance.

LUMP: One of the common causes is an ganglion. This could be painful or painful. An USS will be helpful to ascertain the diagnosis or se your GP.
