Not necessarily: AFRAID of being alone, perhaps just don't want to feel lonely. If the TV is too bright it may interfere w/sleeping at a deep and refreshing level however. Peace and good health. TVw/a timer might be a good in between strategy.

Sleep with TV. : As far as the duration and quality of your sleep, we would consider the lights and sounds of the TV distracting, causing you to have less quality and quantity of sleep.
