It can: TMJ/TMD can create some of the issues you are describing. There are several other potential triggers also, including possibly Trigeminal Neuralgia- but you would think that a neurologist would have pursued that avenue. You appear to have neurological problems too. I would try seeing a TMJ/TMD specialist
