Had a total thyroidectomy 1 year ago. non cancerous had 3 nodes. just had an ultrasound and it said i have 2 nodes. one on the left one on right.

Neck nodes: You had a total thyroidectomy for a non-cancerous lesion? Was it for graves? If it was non-cancerous why are you having scans? What are you looking for? What are your symptoms? You have dozens of lymph nodes in your neck, what's so special about the 2-3 they mention? Enlarged, hypoechoic or what? What is the endpoint of the scan? Not enough info to make sense.

I just had ultrasound of my thyroid. I was wanting explanation of the report. I had a right thyroidectomy in 2004. The report says left lobe is normal. There is no normal thyroid tissue seen on right side. There is a tiny hypoechoic nodule in isthmus.
