Very dry skin: If you have very severe acne, isotretinoin will rescue you. If it is not severe, get a different treatment. For severe acne, people put up with very dry lips and skin for 5 months. After 5 months, they stop isotretinoin with rapid return to normal skin and are usually free of acne.
