Female 39 may have hormonal cystic acne .antibiotics don't work, steriod injections dent my face.i have a couple of reccuring nodules on face every 3 mths not severe. is isotretinoin treatment only for severe hard recurring nodular cystic acne?

Difficult issue. I would invest a few lbs and subscribe to uptodate.com for a month and read all about these issues. Then you will be better prepared to discuss options available in UK with a Dermatologist over there who will be better able to suggest what to do in women like her.
