Weight and lipids: The best way to reverse fatty liver is to maintain or get to a normal body weight with a BMI (body mass index) less than 25. Cut down on the fats you eat in your diet and work on eating more high fiber foods. Regular exercise will help as well. Look at some of the checklists on healthy diet in Healthtap.
