I was told i had ibs. if i don't take the chlordiazepoxide pills prescribed to me, my abdomen hurts (right below zyphoid). back hurts. ibs or other?

Could also: be gastritis or a gastric ulcer or pancreatitis. IF you haven't seen a GI doctor or had an upper endoscopy or UGI xray, that would be my first recommendation. This does not sound like IBS at all
