Pathology interpreta: Was a cervical conization, endocervical curettage or endometrial biopsy ever performed? On the final hysterectomy pathology, no CIN or frank cervical cancer was found? This may be due to the fact that the original cervical biopsy removed the entire abnormal area from the cervix. Chronic cervicitis and squamous metaplasia are benign cervical changes.
