Got colposcopy/biopsy done. its lsil with cervicitis (n72). i have hpv and no stds, does cervicitis mean herpes infection? or just present inflammation on the cervix?

Words: Cervix = an organ ; itis= an ending placed on words like an organ system to indicate inflammation. The word cervicitis just means it has evidence of inflammation without pointing to a specific cause.
