Tension: Muscle tension in your neck muscles may be causing this. Try sleeping without a pillow!! Apply some heat to the back of your head/neck. If these tips work the above is probably the freason for your headache. If not see your Primary Care Provider to check your blood pressure and examine your eyes Hope this helps DrZ

Probable Tension HA: The most common type of HA is a stress or tension HA. The 2 types are: Chronic tension HA felt to be related to contraction of the neck and scalp muscles and Episodic or occasional tension HA usually associated with an acute stressful event.
