Yes: Babies are bowlegged for the most part. This should be symmetrical on both sides. Your doc will examine him carefully for any abnormalities at his four month checkup, be sure and mention your concerns.

Probably normal: A new baby's bones are soft and can seem to be unusually shaped. This is often due to how snug they are in the womb. Shin bones can appear bowed and often will straighten out when they bear weight (child is standing and walking). Ask your doctor or nurse at your next well-child visit if they think it is mild or something that needs checking out.
