You need to be seen: A physician will need more background information to help you since there are several diverse causes for dizziness. Based on the suddenness of the event and the maintenance of consciousness, I would wonder if this is an inner ear problem such as labyrinthitis or benign positional vertigo. Other possibilities: low blood sugar, heart arrhythmia, adrenal issue...if recurs then go to ER.
