A Lot To Learn-Bravo: There's a million websites for this. To get a breakdown of what's in a food check out http://nutritiondata.self.com/, for lots of stuff to read try www.nutrition.gov, and http://fnic.nal.usda.gov/--that'll get you started. I'm sure you'll start surfing from there. Remember this: Lots of greens and veggies, nuts,fish--minimum of ANY processed foods, 30 minutes of exercise 3X/week, Good luck.

Height and weight: Ideal body weight for women is 45 kg for first 152 cm of height then 0.9 kg for each cm thereafter. Maintenance calories can be calculated using a calculator like this one: http://www.exrx.net/Calculators/CalRequire.html Make certain your diet contains lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and adequate protein (about 1-2 grams per kilo of weight) Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
