So much is genetic: shape/thickness/etc of mustache is genetically determined and difficult to change. While MINOXIDIL creme does increase hair growth, its effect is SMALL (and its risks and its cost is also tiny). There can be diseases that affect hair quality (thyroid, malnutrition) it is extremely UNLIKELY you have them. Mainly look at males on both sides of family (mom;s side) how good you could get.

What kind do u want?: If you're asking how to grow facial hair, there is nothing that can be done. It depends on hormones and genetics. If you want to make your mustache look better, perhaps a barber would be a better person to ask than a doctor.
