A member asked:

I am handicapped due to paralysis, how can i find out if i have been misdiagnosed or even have ms?

Can be challenging: Not clear why you were paralyzed, but could possibly be due to a spinal cord disease, such as neuromyelitis optica, although MS could also be a culprit. Since many conditions including trauma, a spinal cord infection, tumor, or stroke, could be the answer, if you wish to reassess, could get a second opinion at a nearby medical school dept of neurology clinic.
