My eye is red, irritated,tearing, blurry, sore. i believe i scratched it. i bought polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) antibiotic drops. will that hurt or help?

Be Careful: If it is a minor scratch, meaning not too big or deep, then it should heal in a few days using those drops every few hours. However, if your vision is compromised or the pain increases, or you get sensitive to the light, or a discharge starts then you should go to a doctor immediately. Don't take any chances with your eyes. You don't need to wear an eye patch. Avoid bright lights or a lot of TV.
