Is taking clonidine alone prudent for nervous system hypertension? should i ask doc about adding in beta-blocker, alpha-1blocker?

Are you adding meds: or taking them away (pseudoephedrine)? Clonidine is a pre-synaptic alpha agonist that is used on occasion. I would be concerned about what might occur should you miss a dose (rebound hypertension that is worse than the
baseline BP elevation you have prior to starting this additional medication). How would you do, I'm wondering, on no medication (ask your doctor about trying with close monitoring)
