Dietary supplement: If your diet is healthy and nutritious, there is no reason to supplement it with vitamins unless you are aware of a specific deficiency. It is a complete waste of money. You will not OD on vitamin k by eating Kale. Your body will elliminate excess vitamins and minerals. Vitamins help your enzymes to function properly. More vitamins wont make the enzymes function better.
