You can tell him: him the harmful impact of his untreated anxiety disorder on your relationship, daily functioning & quality of life & offer to accompany him to see a psychiatrist & psychiatrist for treatment. Common problem: He probably wont get worse or better. Getting him to see somebody out of town might be a good idea. He might see a specialist If its an hour up the road (Huntington WV) or in Northeastern Tennessee. PRN Vailum is not the way to go. Cognitive behavioral therapy works best. His loss of freedom is yours as well (when is the last time the two of you went to the mall together?) Keep trying !
