See rheumatologist: If you have had a fever daily for more than a week, this may indicate the presence of inflammation likely from the autoimmune disease. However other conditions may also lead to a low grade fever. I presume that you are given Xanax (alprazolam) for an anxiety issue which may not be adequately controlled. What did not mention what type of autoimmune conditions you have but having fever for days is not normal
